If only I could actually grow used to this... [Honestly Discedo, she already has legit memory problems WHY DO YOU ADD ONTO IT WITH THIS EVENT. But okok fine it's seemed to be fine the last however many times so maybe she can be... optimistic.]

[Dying certainly wasn't a pleasant experience, but the good thing with Chihiro was that she didn't remember it! Having a memory disorder sure came in handy sometimes. Nothing traumatizing to remember and all that...
Except, well, when that meant she didn't remember anything that had happened over the last year. Sure she was dead during that time, but it still meant over 13 hours had passed without being able to check her recorded memories or make new ones. Thirteen hours for her to forget everything and anything that had happened in the last four years.
There's a panicked voice on the network today, one that sounds familiar but somehow... different.]
H-Hello? Is this the police? I, um--this is Chihiro Shindou and [she breaks off here, trying not cry just long enough for her to make this call] I don't know where I am. I-I think I've been kidnapped. Except everything is wrong, it's all wrong, I don't know why I look older and my eye is--[UNDERSTANDING THAT YOU'RE NOW MISSING AN EYE IS HARD OKAY] there's something wrong with my eye.
I don't understand, I thought I was... hit by a car... Was it just a dream? But Onee-chan, where is she? Onee-chan should be here! Onee-chan... [Annnd cue crying. Any twelve-year-old would probably start crying if the last thing they remembered was being run over and woke up looking five years older too.]

To think I've been here for more than a year already... I wonder, are you supposed to celebrate being in Discedo when you've been here for at least a year? While it is an anniversary of sorts, celebrating being kidnapped seems a bit strange.
[Then she smiles, warmly.] Still, despite everything that's happened this past year, I'm a bit glad to have come here. I've met so many wonderful people... and while I know things never stay peaceful for long here, it'd be nice if it could last just a little longer.

[A familiar BZZZZZT!, what looks like a blurred hand slapping the communicator, then a bit of text makes it's way to the screen...]
--morrow's me:
Today was my birthday. I didn't really tell anyone about it, but that's alright. With how things are, I'd hate to trouble someone with something as simple as a birthday. Still, it's strange to think that I aged a whole year in this place. I haven't actually been here that long, but somehow the age of seventeen has managed to creep up on me...
It was a pleasant enough day today though, nothing bad actually happened. Ah, it was a bit funny though when--
[And conveniently enough the communicator times out just like that.]

[The feed buzzes to life with a familiar zapping noise, but when it shows Chihiro there's no visible sign of her being bothered by it. In fact she looks... rather dazed. She keeps blinking, like she's trying to get herself to focus, but it doesn't work. You can see her hand shaking, a pen being held like she's ready to write; however, it stays hovering over her diary, never even hitting the paper. Almost like she can't write whatever it is she wants to write.
By now it's obvious that she's quite pale as well, and she raises her other hand to hold her head... but she slips, and she ends up slumping forward face down on the table.]

[The view is dark and it's hard to make out Chihiro's shape, but from the unsteady view it's obvious that she's shaking. From what you can see of her face, she looks... well, she looks terrified.]
I-If... if you were going to, um, k-kill yourself. What do you think the... best method would be?
[Further away you can hear someone call, "Sis, it's time for dinner!" It startles her, but once that passes her expression changes to... something almost angry.]

This is the story I was finally able to write. It took a long time, but I'm glad I was able to complete it. If anyone would rather read it in a physical copy, I also wrote two copies of it onto paper, one in Japanese and one in English. I'm not sure if the English one is completely correct, but I did my best.
To all the people who helped me with it, and to anyone who took the time to read it... thank you.

[Suddenly wanting to see the people she knows face-to-face rather than just through the comm, Chihiro has decided that walking around outside to visit people all by herself is a totally good idea. Completely safe even. Is this smart? Probably not, but for whatever reason she can't bring herself to ignore this impulse. With that said though, it's scenario time!

(A) For any CR she knows, if she actually knows where you live, she is knocking on your door!
(B) For anyone in general, you spot Chihiro walking around completely unarmed outside. Stop her and ask what in the world she's doing? Ignore her?

U-Um, hello! I was just wondering if anyone here knew how to cut hair? It's been a while since I've had one I think... [She tugs hesitantly at her hair, the six months since she's been here allowing it to have grown past her shoulders.]
It's a bit strange, to be honest. I've never let my hair grow out like this. At least, I don't think I have. But, um, yes, that's all I wanted to ask. Thank you for your time!

Is everyone okay now? I don't really go outside much, so I can't be sure of exactly what happened, but I hope the monster that was attacking everyone was defeated.
Um, besides that though... I was wondering if anyone here has ever written a novel before? If you did, what kind of advice would you give to someone who also wanted to write a novel? On that note actually, if anyone has the time to, please tell me anything you know about novels and stories and the like. I'd really like to know.

[Attention residents of Marshall: you may be feeling some shaking right now. Especially for those on the second floor. And for anyone who's near room 207, WOW WHAT IS THIS CRAZY SHAKING. As for room 207 itself, well... anyone from outside will be able to see some smoke coming from it.
When Chihiro appears on the feed, she seems surprisingly calm, although she does appear to be hiding under a table for anyone who cares to notice. There's a plate of food that's clattered to the ground, and she seems to be contemplating whether or not she can salvage it before turning her attention to the communicator.]
Um, this may sound strange, but is there something going on right now? Maybe I missed something, but I don't, ah, recall something like this happening before.
[At this point she turns the camera to face the kitchen which has been destroyed quite nicely. There's debris littering the pathway, smoke, and even a bit of the afternoon sunlight coming in.]
To think I just finished cooking...

[The first thing the communicator picks up on is a scream. A long, frantic, terrified scream that is already well underway by the time Chihiro thrashes awake and knocks her communicator on. Her breathing is labored when she finally stops, and her hands are covering the eye she usually has an eyepatch over as if there's something--her eye?--coming out. Shakily, she takes one hand to pat around her head, sobbing as she does.
She just had a very, very vivid nightmare of the time she was hit by a car, and a bit of it has crossed over into a straight on hallucination. Her eyes screw shut as she curls into herself, crying.]
I-It hurts... it hurts. Onee-chan, where are...
[She opens her eyes to look for her sister, but is instead greeted with a past event turned hallucination. Granted, she doesn't even remember the time she flipped out like a twelve-year-old, nor does she remember the people she's seeing. If these strange visions weren't scary enough, the strangers are.]

[A very familiar BZZZZZT! is heard, but not the usual hiss that comes along with it. In fact... you can't hear much of anything. The communicator has turned itself on, set to video, bu from where it's positioned you can't see anything except a photo of someone who looks a bit like Chihiro, yet not.
... and the video seems content to focus on that until it times itself out when a sudden alarm clock goes off, coming from the communicator (an old gift from Taiwan)! One of the annoying ones, you know the kind.
There's a small groan before a hand comes from seemingly nowhere, turning off the alarm and blocking the camera. Seeing as how this was a bit of a sleep smash, a few other buttons are accidentally pushed and the following appears in text:]
