[A familiar BZZZZZT!, what looks like a blurred hand slapping the communicator, then a bit of text makes it's way to the screen...]

--morrow's me: Today was my birthday. I didn't really tell anyone about it, but that's alright. With how things are, I'd hate to trouble someone with something as simple as a birthday. Still, it's strange to think that I aged a whole year in this place. I haven't actually been here that long, but somehow the age of seventeen has managed to creep up on me... It was a pleasant enough day today though, nothing bad actually happened. Ah, it was a bit funny though when--

[And conveniently enough the communicator times out just like that.]

I'm sorry if it was something I wasn't meant to see... but, still, happy birthday.

It's, um... it's alright. It was just a diary entry. I hadn't really planned on anyone finding out, but again, thank you.

Oh, I see... is this how you keep a diary, then? Using your communicator?

Yes. I keep a physical diary as well, but I thought using this would be good to have just in case I lost my other one.

That sounds pretty practical. I don't keep a diary, but... I think that's a good idea, to use your communicator like that.

Mm, it's important to me that I do this. Having two diaries like this is helpful, I think.
