Is everyone okay now? I don't really go outside much, so I can't be sure of exactly what happened, but I hope the monster that was attacking everyone was defeated.

Um, besides that though... I was wondering if anyone here has ever written a novel before? If you did, what kind of advice would you give to someone who also wanted to write a novel? On that note actually, if anyone has the time to, please tell me anything you know about novels and stories and the like. I'd really like to know.

Oh, I didn't mean to! I just thought it would be interesting to see...

Ah, I must still have some footage on my pokedex! Would you like to see that?

All right! I should be home soon, I can show you then.

Okay! I'll be waiting.

I won't take long. [And off she goes, riding on Garchomp!]

[And once they get back, Chihiro will be opening the door with a big smile on her face.]

Welcome home!

Thank you, it's good to be home! [Said with a smile as she pats Chihiro's head, then turning to Garchomp to do the same.] That was a good practice session, wasn't it, Garchomp?

[The Pokemon gives a content growl in return, hopefully in a way that won't scare poor Chihiro off.]

[Good job, Garchomp! She smiles back in response instead of getting scared.]

I hope you two had fun.

[And in return, Garchomp hunches over so to nuzzle the girl with her snout, careful so her teeth wouldn't anywhere within sight.]

We surely did! But now is the time for a different kind of fun, right?

[She pets Garchomp's head before looking back to Cynthia.]

Mm, right! I'm excited to see a Pokemon evolve.

Well, then, let's get ourselves seated, shall we?

[Cynthia makes a motion for both Chihiro and Garchomp to follow her as she moves over to the couch, taking out her old Pokedex and browsing through its contents.] Let's see... It's been a long time since then, but it should still be here somewhere...

[She follows silently, staring at the Pokedex when Cynthia takes it out.]

Ah, I've never seen anything like this...

It's a device built specifically to record all kinds of data on Pokemon, so then researchers can further study and try to understand them better. Professor Rowan, for instance, focuses on Pokemon evolution, so that's why I-- ah, here it is!

[Sorry if she was rambling, Chihiro, but at least she got her work done. Now, a push this and that button--] Very well. Would you like to start with Garchomp or Togekiss?

It sounds very advanced. I don't think my world has anything like this.

Oh, um, whichever you'd like!

Well... Then how about we start with Garchomp? She was the first of my Pokemon to ever evolve!

Okay! Ah, I wonder what Garchomp looked like when she was littler...

She was even cuter than she is now! Look!

[Garchomp gives a small growl in protest, but quiets down otherwise. In the meantime, Cynthia moves to show Chihiro a short video on her Pokedex, starting with a Gible. A few seconds later, the tiny Land Shark Pokemon is surrounded in a bright blue light, gradually shifting forms and size until the evolution process is over, revealing a Gabite instead.]

Ahh, she really was! I never would have guessed she had been so cute.

Gaaaar! [Garchomp does not appreciate this cute talk, no. So she tries to grab the Pokedex from Cynthia's hands. With her teeth. All in good, playful fun, of course. ♥]

[And because Cynthia is so used to it, she merely smiles it off, as though not feeling those teeth digging into her skin. At all.]

She was. She likes to keep that in the past, as being cute apparently doesn't go well with her tough reputation.

[Playful though it was, Chihiro still looks worriedly at the two of them.]

Ah, Garchomp, I don't think you should have Onee-san's hand in your moth like that! Though I think it's possible to be both tough and cute, so you shouldn't worry...

Ah, that's quite all right, I don't mind it. [She reassures Chihiro, patting Garchomp's snout with her free hand.] In fact, when she was still a Gible, this was Garchomp's favorite way to show affection.

[And it still is, as a matter of fact. But coming from a huge landshark dragon of death, that's a little scary.]

I see... [Kind of. Maybe. Hopefully.]

Don't worry, she won't bite anyone who isn't used to it, so you're safe.

[And in fact, when her hand starts to bleed a teeny tiny little, Garchomp lets go, licking it all better. ;w;]
