There's no... point in... any of this!

[Chihiro starts tearing pages out of her beloved diary, scattering them across her room. To be honest though, the room itself isn't in great shape--what should be a nice, neat, impossibly orderly room is now a terrible mess.

She stops suddenly though, as if realizing what she's doing.]

W-What am I doing?! I have to... put them back... right?

[Her hands are trembling as she struggles to collect the scattered pages, as if fighting something off, but in the end she can't help it, and she throws them all across the room again. Crying now, she heads for her door and runs.]

Why am I alone?!

The same thing that's been happening for years! I meet someone, I try to remember them, then I forget.

Why do you forget? I doubt the other person would just forget about you. It doesn't work like that.
